Sagittarius Season Style

I’m a bit biased, as a Sagittarius myself, but I must say that we are a pretty fantastic sign!  Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign, known as the archer, represented by a centaur shooting off an arrow. People with Sagittarius sun are known for their adventurous spirit, philosophical attitudes, being always on the go, and loving their freedom and embracing personal growth. Sagittarius people have wanderlust and love to travel the world, expand their horizons and minds, viewing life as a grand adventure and wanting to experience all of it in the grandest way possible. The planet Jupiter, which rules abundance, luck, and expansion, rules Sagittarius, which can lead to Sagittarius people developing a reputation of being lucky.  

And there might be some truth to that luck stereotype. There are certainly a number of people with Sagittarius sun who have been successful in the field of pop stardom! Tina Turner, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Sia, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and Janelle Monáe were all born during Sagittarius season, as were Jay Z, Trey Songz, DJ Khaled, Charlie Puth and Jin from BTS. 


Perhaps this success is in one part due to the passion of Sagittarius that can be translated into drive to become the best they can at their craft.  Astrologers refer to Sagittarius as the torch-carrying sign, giving them the ability to light up the room– perfect for the stage or recording booth.  Sagittarius is known as the storyteller of the zodiac, which absolutely makes sense when we think of songwriters such as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus (the latter of two have written songs about their sign– Taylor Swift’s “The Archer” and Cyrus’ “Sagittarius”).  

 


To dress Jane Fonda would be an absolute dream, and I think she’d look good in absolutely anything, but my favorite earring choices for her would be the Closed Lily Earrings in Black Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver.  They are light and make a statement. Older women tend to want to wear earrings that don’t weigh down their ears and that offers their lobes some coverage. Not that Jane needs this. Regardless of this fact, these earrings are unique, speaking to Jane’s intellectual curiosity and offer a beautiful pop that would show perfectly with the way she wears her beautifully contrasting gray hair.  She could wear them for every day or for a dressy occasion. The versatility is valued considering women when they get older tend to want to let go of things and have pieces they can wear again and again.  

I’d add the Dark Night Engraved Tri Bangle to her look.  Again, this is a versatile piece she can wear with anything for every day or any occasion.  As someone who has always persisted, despite the obstacles that stood in her way, its engraved message of “Nevertheless, she persisted. . .” would ring true to her soul, if I can be so bold as to say so.  Since I’m also a Sagittarius, I will pretend to know what she is thinking.  


I picture Jane Fonda wearing the Hammered Flush Set Baguette Tubular Band.  This piece is modern and classic at once, which describes the style we see Jane wearing. This piece is also both a stackable and a solitaire at the same time, which along with its textured scratch-proof finish, means it is very practical for her active lifestyle.  I’d pair it with the Half Moon Eternity Band in palladium white gold because as a Sagittarius, Jane would embrace new style rules and be willing to mix metals and finishes. While this piece is modern, it has a classic elegance at the same time– a characteristic Fonda brings to everything she does.  


While there are infinite ways I could have “styled” Jane Fonda and given her more bold pieces, I liked to style her in the pieces I could see her wearing every day. What do you think?
