"I refuse to believe that jewelry is just jewelry. It is so much more than that. I want to empower you to be free and celebrate your own uniqueness, through unexpected style and understated luxury."
Made by hand.
Dana L. Bronfman hand designs each jewel organically by carving wax, metalsmithing, and sketching. Master jewelers in Manhattan's jewelry district produce each original work of art, ensuring each piece achieves the highest quality of craftsmanship. This allows the designer to create collections that transcend time both in style and durability.
The Founder and Designer actively works with and donates a portion of sales to non-profit organizations that align with her values. The most prominent of these partnerships are Publicolor and the Sierra Club. She also to promote greener jewelry practices as a member of Ethical Metalsmiths. She also donates jewelry for silent auctions at fundraisers (past partnerships have also included Walking Mountains Natural Science School and the National Coalition for Shelter), and plans events to support and build community around the causes she believes in.
At Dana Bronfman, we make an effort to be transparent in our practices by recycling components and utilizing scrap metal whenever possible. Reclaimed eighteen karat gold, sterling silver, post-consumer diamonds, and ethically-sourced gemstones make up our materials. We maintain minimal environmental impact by scrutinizing the source of each material, utilizing scrap whenever possible, and recycling waste.
