It's a new year, and we are so excited for another twelve months filled with creating quietly bold, modern fine jewelry, and sharing it with you! But as we launch into creating the story of 2018, we cannot help but reflect on what made 2017 so special.
We know the best is still yet to come (we see you, 2018), but, first, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make 2017 our best year yet! We could not have done it without you!
See below for our top 10 highlights of the year!

9- We had the chance to collaborate with and give back to Publicolor, a New York City- based non-profit organization that empowers high risk youth through design-based programs, and helping to support their mission.
We donated a bracelet and pair of earrings to the silent auction, 'Stir, Splatter, and Roll', their annual gala, which raised impressive numbers to benefit their scholarship fund.
We also co-hosted Fashion Meets Publicolor on November 30 with MILLY’s pop up shop in Soho, NYC, where the clothing brand and I sold our pieces in order to contribute 20% of all sales to benefit Publicolor.

10. We enjoyed creating custom pieces!
This custom miniature version of our Holly Pendant was a favorite custom piece to create. A customer of ours wanted a special pendant that was unique to her. She loved our Holly Pendant but is especially petite, so we created a special one that was sized down for her, so she could wear it every day and have it not overwhelm her. She also wanted the necklace in white gold to match her hair. I loved that she celebrated having gray hair, especially after surviving cancer and chemotherapy, she was celebrating that she had hair!

We love sharing the story of jewelry that is designed with intention and heart, and created by hand, one at a time, in our home city of New York, thoughtfully, from reclaimed and ethically-sourced precious materials.
Seeing the look on people’s faces when they fall in love with and choose to own one of our pieces has truly been the biggest highlight of our year. It rewards us by letting us know we are fulfilling our mission to create pieces that speak to individuals, allowing them to tell their own unique stories, and empowering them to express themselves, and doing it in a way that is responsible socially and environmentally.
In 2018, we look forward to continuing to create timeless fine jewelry with style that transcends trends. We resolve to share more information about the story behind what we do, why, and how we do it.
We hope to continue to allow you to connect with your loved ones as jewelry is often gifted, and provide conversation starters to allow you to connect with the wonderful people that surround you. We want to help you reflect your inner sparkle on the outside for the world to see.
Thank you for taking a look back at 2017 with us! We hope you have a quietly bold 2018 and that you feel your own inner sparkle and shine each and every day of the year.
